SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- You can get the team, their coaches and entourage down to Arizona, but with that comes a need for security.

The Broncos have two Boise Police officers who travel with them wherever they go.

"For us it's been a great experience.  We have stayed really busy.  It's been some early mornings and some late nights, and with that being said, it's great to represent the city of Boise, the Boise community, and the Boise Police Department.  We almost feel like the representative and our players always represent themselves great," said Boise Police Officer Jermaine Galloway.

It's actually a year around committment between the Boise Police Deparment and Boise State University.

The officers travel to all the games, and they attend practices while on the road and all team functions.

They protect and serve well over 100 people with the football team while on the road.

Galloway does have some help.

From Boise to Scottsdale, the other officers who help keep the Broncos safe up to game day.

We traveled with the motorcade that escorts the players to and from where they need to be while at the Fiesta Bowl.
