TWIN FALLS -- Saturday, members of the Armenian-American community gathered together to honor victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The Twin Falls City Council voted September 28 to approve the donation of a memorial plaque and tree by the Twin Falls Armenian Memorial Project.
Community members looked on as the tree was planted and the plaque was installed at the Twin Falls City Park. The plaque honors the victims of the Armenian Genocide and the contributions Armenian-Americans have made to the Twin Falls community.
