NAMPA -- It was an exciting day for an agency that re-houses our community's homeless families.

They are called Charitable Assistance to Community's Homeless, also known as CATCH and they opened a Nampa location Tuesday.

Those with CATCH as well as Nampa Mayor Tom Dale, along with his huge ribbon cutting scissors, helped in the grand opening of the 2nd Street location.

CATCH partners with the community and businesses to provide rental assistance for homeless families for up to six months.

"Being in Nampa I think is really going to help the continuing care in Nampa the shelter system the more families we can take out of shelters the more spots we are going to have available," said Greg Morris, Founder and Executive Director of CATCH.

This new facility comes with an area for adults to apply for job, a play area for kids, and a warehouse filled with gently used furniture.
