ADA COUNTY - If you're an Ada County taxpayer, you just helped buy a subdivision in the foothills.
Red Hawk Estates was foreclosed on, and the county had a lien on the property.
Commissioner Sharon Ullman says the county owns land in the surrounding area and plans to use the Red Hawk Estates land for open space and buffer around the landfill.
Ullman says the process moved quickly because they didn't have a lot of notice about the sale.
