BOISE -- Boise Police say they included two 17-year-old minors to conduct an alcohol compliance check over the weekend.

Six of the 43 Boise businesses they visited, failed the test. Boise Police say one of the bartenders served alcohol to both minors while other clerks sold to them without asking for identification.

Police say the offending businesses were Parilla Grill in Hyde Park, Gil's K-9 Bar on Main Street, The Drink  Restaurant on State Street, Pacific Rim Wine Shop on State Street, Idaho State Liquor Store at State Street and Glenwood, and Chapala's Restaurant at Vista and Kootenai.

The Boise Police Department will be conducting alcohol server training for businesses and employees at their headquarters on April 30th. If interested, contact Arden Baumen at 570-6400 or email abauman@cityofboise.org.
