NAMPA -- A 5-year-old boy was taken to a Boise hospital with serious injuries on Friday evening after being struck by vehicle.
Nampa Police say it happened as the boy was riding his bike west on 2nd street north and across 11th Avenue at around 6 p.m.
Witnesses say he rode into traffic.
One of the cars stopped just in time, but blocked the view of a second car. The second car collided with the boy.
Police say he was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious head injuries.
No one has been cited for the collision.
