BOISE -- The last day of the Exergy Tour off to rough start for a trio of cyclists in Boise's Hyde Park.

The racers took off at 11 a.m.  The ladies headed out fast and near the back of the pack a group of the riders crashed.

Exergy Tour spokeswoman Heather Hill tells KTVB that three riders were involved in the crash.  They are all OK, but none of them finished today's final stage.

The riders in front of the pack took off without a problem.  Today's course took the ladies up Bogus Basin Road to Cartwright Road and over to Dry Creek Road, coming down on Harrison Boulevard and finishing back on 13th Street in downtown Boise.

Germany's Claudia Haeusler won the 46.7-mile final stage.

The overall winner of the Exergy Tour was Evelyn Stevens of Boulder, Colo., who came in second today.  The 29-year-old finished well ahead of the pack to beat American Amber Neben for the title.  The win is expected to help Stevens secure a berth of the U.S. Olympic team for the London Games.
