BOISE -- A 27-year-old Boise man is in jail after police say he told airport security personnel he had explosives inside his baggage on Saturday morning.
Officers say the incident happened at 7:30 a.m. during security screening at the Boise Airport. That's when 27-year-old Qasim M. Hussein is accused of making some sort of comment to officials indicating there might have been explosives in his baggage.
Officers investigating the incident found there was no bomb, but had to delay several flights while they searched Hussein's baggage and questioned him.
Hussein was booked into the Ada County Jail on a single felony charge of a false report of explosives in a public place.
