BOISE -- A Fruitland teenager died in a rollover crash Monday night.
The Payette County Sheriff's Office says the accident happenend around 6:30 p.m. on Echo Avenue at South Echo Avenue. That's between Fruitland and Parma.
Seventeen-year-old Nickolaus Langdon of Fruitland died in the crash. He was a passenger in the back seat.
The sheriff's office says the teenage driver of a 1997 Honda Civic went off the road, hit a cement ditch and overturned. The car landed on its roof.
The driver, Dallas Tweedy, 17, was extricated and transported to Holy Rosary Medical Center in Ontario, Oregon.
It appeared all four people in the car were wearing their seatbelts.
Investigators are still trying to figure out exactly what caused the crash.
