BOISE -- Firefighters have extinguished a two-alarm fire at Coin Laundry on West Franklin Road near the intersection of Curtis Road and Franklin Road.
Boise Fire inspector Shane Walker say the fire was reported at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday by a passerby who saw smoke coming from the roof.
Firefighters were able to control the fire within 20 minutes.
Walker says most of the damage was contained to a back storage room, where some of the ceiling had to be pulled down to keep the fire from spreading in the attic. The laundry machines were not damaged in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
