BOISE – Internet sources say a former Mrs. Idaho pageant winner is in an area hospital after a serious accident in Hells Canyon.
KTVB confirmed with Saint Alphonsus that 2009 Mrs. Idaho Jamie Hilton was in the hospital’s intensive care unit on Friday morning.
According to a blog created by friends and family, Hilton somehow fell about 12-feet backward onto rocks in Hells Canyon. She was then flown by Life Flight to Boise, where she underwent emergency brain surgery.
Friends say she is now in a medically-induced coma.
