ELMORE COUNTY -- A 12-year-old boy is dead following an ATV accident in which he received major head injuries.
On Friday, September 10, Ryder Cole McRae of Mountain Home was driving an ATV very fast, when he tried making a turn. He was thrown from the ATV and he landed on the road.
McRae was not wearing a helmet when he crashed.
The 12-year-old boy was taken to the Elmore Medical Center, then taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Trauma Center in Boise where he died.
