BOISE – A dozen Boise neighborhoods will split nearly $400,000 as part of the neighborhood reinvestment grants program.
Boise Mayor Dave Bieter announced the recipients today at the Borah Community Garden.
The capital project grants are intended to fund physical improvements within neighborhoods to encourage a strong sense of community.
This year's projects range from - historic streetlights along Warm Springs Avenue - to commissioning artists to decorate traffic boxes in downtown Boise.
The Borah Community Garden was a capital grant project from last year. For those in the neighborhood, the garden has been a huge success.
