ELMORE COUNTY -- A 10-year-old girl was taken by air ambulance to a Boise hospital after being shot during a camping and hunting trip in Elmore County Friday.
The Elmore County Sheriff's Office got the call a little after 11 a.m. Friday morning.
Deputies tell KTVB that the girl was with family and friends in the Pine - Featherville area when she was shot in the groin.
The girl's condition has not been released.
We're told the incident is under investigation.
