KETCHUM -- An 18-year-old central Idaho man charged with raping two 14-year-old girls, the second while he was free on bond for the first charge, has been sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.

The Idaho Mountain Express reports Mark Allen Karlovich of Hailey was sentenced Monday by 5th District Court Judge Robert Elgee. Karlovich will have to spend at least 32 months in prison before being eligible for parole.

Karlovich pleaded guilty in March to a felony rape charge. A second charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Karlovich has been held on $500,000 bail since his December 2012 arrest in the second case.

At the time, he was free on a $3,000 bond for an October rape charge and was ordered not to have contact with underage girls.
