Ad tech company opens new office in Boise

Jelli held a ribbon-cutting ceremony today.

BOISE - A growing ad tech company just moved into downtown Boise.

Jelli is in the audio advertising market for companies like iHeartRadio, Cumulus Media and local radio stations.

Mayor Dave Bieter attended today's ribbon-cutting ceremony and says this is exactly the kind of company Boise wants to attract.

Jelli is headquartered in San Mateo, California, but is expanding its operation in New York and here in Idaho.

CEO and co-founder Mike Dougherty is a Boise native who says today was a special homecoming for him.

"Boise is kind of the secret weapon for our company now,” said Dougherty. “It's going to be a place where we can hire folks that can really match our culture. That have the same sort of growth that we see in technology, a lot of great talent, so we're really excited about scaling with Boise.”

Jelli's Boise office will initially focus on customer support.

The company is also looking into offering internships for Boise State students.
