SALT LAKE CITY -- Centennial High School grad and 2017 Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year Tori Williams has asked for her release from the University of Utah basketball program.
In a tweet on Saturday, Williams thanked the university and her team:
Williams started 27 games for the Utes this past season, earning Freshman All-PAC12 honors after averaging nine points per game, including a season high 29 points against Washington in February.
