Soda shop puts fun twist on ordinary, classic sodas

Sodalicious is slowly but surely popping up everywhere in the Treasure Valley. Once you go there, you might not be able to drink a normal soda again.

When you order a drink at a restaurant or in the drive-thru, you have your typical choices like Sprite, Dr. Pepper, or Root Beer. There's not much creativity involved, right? Now you can be a mixologist at a local soda shop called Sodalicious!

All you have to think about is what soda you want, and on the menu there are several drink combinations involving your favorite soda that toss in syrups and even cream if you want it.

Here's how it works: I want a 7Up (my go-to) so I take a look at the Sodalicious menu and check out the 7Up category and see drinks like "Castaway" which has 7Up, coconut, guava, and fresh lime.

There's also the "What She's Having" which has 7Up, blood orange, strawberry, cherry, and watermelon.

If you want whatever drink you choose to have cream added to it, that means it's "extra dirty." Yes, you have to say you want it "extra dirty."

As you look at the menu, you probably notice some interesting names like "Your Mom" and "2nd Wife". Manager Halsey Anderson says with names like these, customers sometimes have a hard time keeping a straight face while ordering!

If you don't want a soda, they have the best sugar cookies I've ever tasted (next to my mom's of course) with buttercream frosting, and other treats too!

Sodalicious has three locations in Idaho. They're at 16365 N Marketplace Boulevard in Nampa, 94 N. Fisher Park Way in Eagle, and the newest location is at 1035 Fairview Ave. in Meridian.
