Idaho artists aim to stop bullying and suicide

BOISE - A couple of local artists aim to help stop bullying and suicide.

Nicole Christensen Pettinger and Jessica Tookey are sharing the stories in hopes of squashing the stigma of mental illness, and saving lives.

"I think we've all been in a bad place, if we're honest," Pettinger said. "So my whole point is to be involved and let people know to have faith and have hope."

Tookey has been displaying her artwork across the Treasure Valley, most recently Saturday at the Jackson Jet Center near the Boise Airport.

You can see the exhibit, "Words Matter," online here.
