NAMPA - Dozens of bikers from the Soul Zone Motorcycle Riders spent their Thanksgiving delivering pies to first responders.
Their hope is that their small act of kindness shows these men and women how much their jobs mean to them.
"These guys and gals are going out they're risking their lives for us. You know they run into a fire, burning house and all this and we just wanted to show them our appreciation," Chaplain Richard Rigenhagen said.
They make nine stops in Nampa, hand delivering pies and saying a prayer.
"When the community itself comes out and they thank us for being here and taking care of them,” Capt. Paul Visser, Nampa Fire, said. “It's humbling.”
The Soul Zone Riders have been doing this for 12 years.
