Big finale planned for Meridian Speedway fireworks show

This Fourth of July most people are enjoying a day off, but for pyrotechnicians it's the busiest day of the year. NewsChannel 7 got a behind the scenes look at the preparations for the big fireworks show at the Meridian Speedway tonight.
Plenty of local fireworks displays this Fourth of July

Fireworks will light up the skies Friday for Independence Day and there are plenty of events for everyone. A big display will take place at Ann Morrison Park tonight and can be seen live tonight on NewsChannel 7 at 10:20 p.m.

A piece of the past has reopened on Highway 21. The former Hilltop Cafe, now named the Kodiak Grill, is open for business, and during the lunch hour the place was booming.
