Mt. Hood, Oregon - The search for two missing climbers on Oregon's Mount Hood is expected to resume Monday morning.
Crews recovered the body of a third climber Luke T. Gullberg, 26, of Des Moines, WA on Saturday.
Still missing are Anthony Vietti, 24, of Longview, WA and Katie Nolan, 29, of Portland, OR.
The trio left early Friday morning, planning to tackle Mt. Hood's 11-thousand 200 foot summit -- but never returned. Sunday night was their third night on the mountain.
"We are doing everything we can to-- with the hopes that these people are still alive, they're holed up in a snow cave or something like that," said Steve Rollins Portland Mountain Rescue
Over the last decade, Oregon's highest peak has claimed 18 lives.
Monday's skies are set to be clear this morning but an incoming front is expected to dump about a foot of new snow on the mountain overnight Monday night into Wednesday morning.
The latest search comes almost exactly three years after another trio of experienced climbers died on Mount Hood during a December 2006 blizzard.
