Swine flu clinics will now be available to Ada County residents on Mondays.
Central District Health moved the clinics from Saturdays to Mondays in hopes of vaccinating more people in the priority groups.
CDHD will have 1,600 H1N1 doses available.
A spokesman says the change comes after people said Saturdays were a busy time for them. Also staff at clinics are not always available on the weekends.
Here is the schedule for the new clinics.
They will open on Mondays from three p.m. to seven p.m. at the former CompUSA store on Milwaukee Street in Boise.
The shots are only for those in the following priority groups.
- Pregnant women
- People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
- Healthcare and emergency medical staff
- Persons between the ages of 6 months and 24 years old
- People 25 to 64 with chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems.
The nasal spray version of the vaccine will not be available.
That is reserved for use in school-based vaccination programs.
