SEATTLE - It's another big setback for Toyota and this one involves the ever-popular Toyota Prius.
The government of Japan has ordered an investigation into possible problems with the hybrid, after receiving complaints about its brakes.
According to Kyodo News, there have been reportedly more than 100 complaints in the U.S., and 14 complaints in Japan, including one incident where a Prius crashed head-on into another car at an intersection.
Tuesday night, at least one Prius owner in Seattle says she's not too concerned -- at least not yet.
"I've owned two Priuses. This is my second one. I've had no problem with it. Toyota has always been very responsive I think and if there is a problem with the brake, they're going to fix it. The end," says Kathryn Buchanan of Seattle.
This story broke late Tuesday night, and so far the National Highway Transportation Safety Board has not issued a statement about it.
