One of the injured victims of the shooting in at Fort Hood, Texas died Thursday night raising the death toll to 13.

There are 30 victims injured, one civilian and 12 soldiers are dead.

Everyone who is alive is in stable condition.

The suspected shooter, Maj Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, is alive, in custody and in stable condition.

Also overnight, we've learned officers raided the Texas apartment of the alleged gunman.

They are searching for clues as to what caused the military psychiatrist to allegedly gun down soldiers he had taken an oath to help.

A Texas convenience store owner says Hasan was spotted in a store Thursday morning.

Just hours later, Hasan would be named the suspect in the massacre at Fort Hood.

The suspected shooter, Hasan, is single with no children.

He worked as a psychiatrist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for six years

Military officials say he received a poor performance evaluation while at Walter Reed.

Hasan graduated from Virginia Tech University.

It was unclear what the motive was, though it appeared Hasan was upset about a scheduled deployment to Iraq.

Hasan was shot four times and is the only shooter involved in this incident.

It's being called the worst mass shooting ever at a military base in the United States.
