BOISE -- With Veterans Day coming up and two wars going on right now, the City of Boise said a big "Thank You" to those
who have served our country and those still serving.
Thousands of people lined the downtown streets to watch the Annual Veterans Day Parade roll and march on by.
Enid Laursen came to enjoy the big event.
Her father was in World War II, and her brother was in the Korean War.
She knows what this day means.
“To honor the veterans who fought for all the wars and to pay tribute to them because they sacrifice so much to fight for our
rights so we can live in a free America" Laursen said.
Veterans organizations, the Boise Fire Department, 12 marching bands and many other groups took part.
