GARDEN CITY -- A third suspect wanted for intimidating a witness to a local murder has turned himself into police.

A $500,000 warrant was issued for Cristian Alberto Gonzalez, 22, of Nampa, charging him with threats and intimidation of a state's witness.  He was booked into the Ada County Jail around noon Thursday.

He is the half brother to Carlos Navarrete who is charged with the murder of Irving Romero on Oct. 19 in Garden City.

Garden City Police say that Gonzalez and two female accomplices assaulted and threatened a witness who was set to testify in the upcoming hearings and murder trial of Navarrete.

The female accomplices, Kimberly Henson and Tawny Dale were arraigned Wednesday in Ada County court. They remain in custody.

While searching for Gonzalez, police learned that his female companion Ericia Aguila, 20, of Nampa, was aiding in Gonzalez’s flight from authorities. She was arrested and charged last night in Nampa for accessory to felony harboring of a fugitive.

She was booked into the Canyon County Jail.

Gonzalez will be arraigned Friday.
