LEWISTON -- A teenager who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a Lewiston woman at knifepoint will remain in juvenile custody until he is 19.
The Lewiston Tribune reports Joshua C. Grossman faces an additional 20 years in adult prison if he doesn't respond to treatment in the Idaho Juvenile Corrections system. Grossman, who is 17, was sentenced Wednesday.
Police say he used two knives to threaten and attack a female acquaintance at her home in Lewiston last September. The woman was treated at a local hospital less than an hour after she reported the assault took place in her bedroom.
Grossman was charged as an adult in Idaho's 2nd District Court.
