BOISE - Southwest Airlines will soon start flights between Boise and Denver - expanding the low-cost airline's service from the Boise area.
The Denver flight will mark the eighth non-stop destination for Southwest out of the Boise Air Terminal. A daily flight will arrive from Denver each day at 1 p.m., and take back off to the Mile High City at 1:25 p.m.
The airline established a base in Denver in 2006 and has expanded to 34 cities since then.
The Boise round-trip will start on March 14 of next year.
Southwest also announced it add a third flight from Boise to Reno, Nevada on the same day. The airline cut that flight in August due to slumping demand, but says they've already seen an increase in bookings for the route.
