MERIDIAN -- Two people suffered minor injuries and white paint was dumped on a Meridian street after an accident involving two vehicles Tuesday morning.
Meridian Police Sgt. Jeff Brown says a female driver was on her way home around 10:12 a.m. when her car struck a Chevy S-10 pickup carrying a load of house paint at the intersection of E. Baldwin Street and E. Ryegate Drive.
The impact of the crash caused one of the truck's tires to deflate, which led to it riding on the rim and then rolling over. A truckload of white latex house paint was spilled on the road. Two men were inside the truck. They suffered minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.
The woman was not hurt, but was cited by police for inattentive driving.
Brown says the Ada County Highway District was contacted and sent a crew out to clean up the paint spill.
