MERIDIAN -- A Meridian man is accused of trying to meet a teenage girl for sex.

Ada County Sheriff's detectives arrested 23-year-old Joshua Orval Hansen Thursday on a charge of enticing children over the Internet.

The sheriff's office says he chatted online with a detective posing as a 15-year-old girl and arranged to meet in a public place.

Hansen was arrested shortly after arriving.

The sheriff's office receives grant money from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to conduct these types of investigations.
