POMEROY, Wash -- A semi-truck went out of control on Highway 12 near Pomeroy Thursday afternoon, jackknifed and struck an oncoming SUV.
The Washington State Patrol says the crash killed the driver of the car, 60-year-old Cathy Barton of McCall, Idaho. The truck driver was not injured.
