COEUR D'ALENE -- Police in northern Idaho say they have arrested a robber accused of demanding a controlled drug from a pharmacy, then throwing cash on the counter before fleeing.
Kootenai County Sheriff Lt. Stu Miller says 39-year-old Egan Barred Logan IV was arrested Tuesday.
Police questioned Logan at his Twin Lakes home Tuesday after getting a tip from a church pastor. He is being held in the county jail and expected to appear in 1st District Court Wednesday.
Investigators say a man went to the prescription counter at a Hayden-area Walgreens Monday night and asked the pharmacist for a drug. When told he needed a prescription, police say the man told the pharmacist he was robbing her.
After the clerk handed over the drug, police say the robber tossed some money on the counter and walked out.
