GRANGEVILLE -- The music department at Grangeville High School is a finalist for a "Grammy in the Schools" award.
The Lewiston Tribune reports that the department, led by music teacher Kathy Stefani, is a finalist in two categories -- one focusing on schools that are economically underserved, and another for schools with outstanding music education programs.
Stefani says she doesn't know who nominated the department, but it's exciting to simply look at everything the department has accomplished.
