IDAHO—An Idaho state representative from Lewiston is pushing for a ban on indoor tanning for teenagers.
Democratic Rep. John Rusche said he is concerned about the possible cancer risks associated with indoor tanning beds. The bill would make it a misdemeanor offense for those under the age of 18 to use tanning beds.
A similar ban is also being considered in Washington state.
