BOISE -- Horizon Air is taking Bronco pride to new heights.
They unveiled a Q-400 Liberty decked out in blue and orange. It was even waived in by marshalls with BSU pom-poms.
"It just rolled off the line and is going to be flying throughout our system, both as a tribute to the university and to the city of Boise, which we've served for over 23 years," said Dan Russo, Horizon Air.
The first load of passengers came from San Jose and was greated in Boise by BSU cheerleaders, the Bronco mascot and plenty of photographers.
Four Pac-Ten schools have similar planes.
"This is really important for us because it's another sign that we have achieved such notority, such a great reputation among other universities, such as Oregon, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State," said BSU President Bob Kustra.
After landing in Boise Monday afternoon, the plane then departed for Idaho Falls.
