Dr. Walker was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He moved to Texas during his undergrad years attending Rice University and Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency and a fellowship in sports medicine at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Walker is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Walker specializes in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine and is a team physician for the Idaho Steelheads, the Idaho Stampede, Northwest Nazarene University, Bishop Kelly High School, PBR bull riding, and PRCA rodeos.
He has been with B.O.C. for 15 years and is married to Dr. Eloisa Walker, a pediatric cardiologist. They have one son who is a competitive gymnast.
Dr. Walker spends his free time watching his son compete in gymnastics, mastering the art of photography and enjoying the great outdoors at his cabin hideaway.
