David M. Lamey, M.D. was born in Everett, Washington. His higher level education began at Carroll College in Helena, Montana continuing on to the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Lamey completed his orthopedic residency at UCLA and received his fellowship in hand surgery at Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University, in New York.
He continued with training internationally, studying micro vascular surgery in Melbourne, Australia and upper extremity trauma in Berne, Switzerland.
Dr. Lamey is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
He been with B.O.C. for over 11 years and is the current president of the Orthopedic Surgery Center of Idaho.
Dr. Lamey has a wife and three sons with whom he enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, river kayaking, golfing and life in Idaho.
