John G. Kloss, M.D.is a graduate of Boise High School, Johns Hopkins University, and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He completed a pediatric internship and one year of surgery at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Kloss served in the U.S. Air Force in Athens, Greece and went on to complete an Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Arizona, and a Christine Kleinert Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Louisville. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He has been with BOC for 28 years.
Dr. Kloss has also been quite active in Medical Affairs, serving as Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and as President of the Medical Staff at St. Alphonsus RMC. He is married with a son and daughter and when he not working with his patients you may find him biking, gardening or sea kayaking.
