Ultra Pulse CO2 Laser

As we age, the effects of sun damage and environmental pollutants begin to take their toll on our skin, creating lines and wrinkles on our faces. Laser resurfacing can help smooth and tighten eyelid skin, fine lines and wrinkles of the face, including the upper lip, cheeks, forehead and crow's feet. In addition, it can fade brown spots and pigmentation problems, as well as improve scars (including acne scars).

Laser resurfacing involves short bursts of extremely high energy laser light which vaporizes the undesired skin tissue, thereby exposing fresh skin lying underneath. The heat of the laser beam also causes underlying collagen fibers to contract, giving the skin a smoother and tighter surface.

When you come into our office for your consultation, we will show you a video about the procedure. We will discuss the procedure with you and give you additional information. Dr. McKim will then do an examination and determine if laser surgery would best suit your needs.
