This is my 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier and she's one heck of a trooper. April of 2008 she woke up paralyzed due to a rare spinal stroke. I was told she had only a 10% chance she would ever walk again so she should be put down. This was not even an option. Apparently Shae did not hear her odds and was determined to return to her old life style. I purchased a wheelchair which gave her some freedom again. After 2 months of acupuncture, massage, herbal remedies and just pure unconditional love her legs started to show signs of life again. She will never will be the same again but she can get around without the wheelchair now and absolutely loves life! This girl is the love of my life and should be an inspiration to all.
