When we moved into our home 30+ years ago, the back yard was nothing but 1/2 acre of hard clay dirt-no trees or green anywhere. But I had a vision of a beautiful, flower-filled serene garden area with a water feature where we could play badminton on the lawn or just sit & read while listening to the birds and the water trickling over the rocks. We built the fountain & all the rock gardens surrounding it. I have planted every tree/shrub/flower in the yard & my husband waters them all faithfully every day using the hose. Even mama duck brings her babies to swim in the fountain pools. It is very peaceful & beautiful and has become our favorite morning coffee spot and a wonderful place to relax in the everning.
