Judie Dietzler of Soroptimist of Boise and Flat Larry have been working very hard to get donations and pledges for the March of Dimes to keep them from being incarcerated on Wednesday, July 7th.. The March of Dimes is sending their deputies to pick up Judie, Flat Larry and her probation officer at 11:00 am at 1280 N. Victor Way.
Her probation officer made an early attempt to hand cuff her and haul her off to jail on Saturday July 3rd but fortunately Judie was able to escape.
When I was asked to take on this project I had a big "NO" formed on my lips but with a healthy son and five healthy grandkids that I am blessed to have in my life I decided I needed to make the time for this project because it helps save the lives of children.
The mission of the March Of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. They carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight.
