The Boise Buccaneers, is the newest expansion football team in the Professional Developmental Football League (PDFL). The PDFL is a regional football league consisting of the Tacoma Cobras, the Bellingham Blitz, the Portland Thunderbolts, and now your Boise Buccaneers. The Buccaneers provide local athletes a platform to continue their football career after high school, college or a stint in the pros. Currently the Buccaneers are not paying players to play, which entitles a few players to keep their college eligibilty. The teams goals along with the rest of the league is to move into the professional ranks, in the near future. Majority of the leagues players consists of former Division 1,2,& 3 players attempting to reach the next level. The Buccaneers will play two home games at Emmett High School in Emmett, Idaho.
