Every spring a pair of ducks visits the pool in our backyard. We just discovered on Sunday morning that they have a nest in the corner of our pool area and 12 baby ducklings. Mom brings them out for a swim many times a day and to play in the yard. She lets our kids get close to watch. Luckily, the pool is fenced in, but the babies fit right under it. We do have 2 dogs, one a yellow lab that goes nuts every time he hears mom, so we're not letting them have free reign of the back yard for now. We've called Fish and Game and Animals in distress and have been told the best thing to do is try and capture them all and take them to a park. We're going to try sometime this week.
