Lee McCluey, a retired VA Nurse & long time member of Beta Sigma Phi celebrated her birthday. Flat Larry and Bingo Mama, who never never turn down an opportunity to party, quickly joined in on the festivities with Lee and her sorority sisters. Lee is vague about her age but she was a nurse in world ward II. She also lived in New York City where she pursued a modeling career then returned to Idaho where she was active in the Boise Little Theater. She had many starring roles in the first years of the theaters existence. A dress she wore in one of the first plays is on exhibit in the lobby of the theater.
She also shared her talent of acting with her sorority sisters and once performed as "The First Woman Astronaut On the Moon" with a life long friend from Emmett, at a luncheon. She, also did oil paintings and many arts and crafts. She made many lovely things for our sorority bazaars over the years. Happy Birthday Lee and many more.
