My husband and I are from Boise. My husband and I took a Caribbean Cruise last week with a couple of great friends. On Tuesday the 5th, our first stop in Mexico we ported right next to Carnival Triumph that caught fire and left people stranded. We did not know of this ship catching fire until Monday the 11th we were waiting for our flight in the Miami airport and heard the news. I looked back through our pictures and sure enough we have a couple pictures with the that ship next to our ship Carnival Glory. When walking to get back on our ship we watched two highly intoxicated girls get escorted back on Carnival Triumph by boat staff members and a few dozen people start cheering on the balcony's once the two girls finally walked on board. Apparently the two drunk girls had held up the ship from leaving and they finally got them on. After watching and hearing the news we made jokes that those two drunk girls had probably started the fire :) Our Cruise was amazing and we had the best time. I thank god that we were not on that ship.
