Have you ever seen the Snake River completely frozen? Neither had we until this week. We live next to the river just west of Weiser and have been astounded daily by the changes in this wide body of water. Sometimes is it completely frozen in a 180* view, sometimes a channel of water is forced open through the ice where the water churns and boils through. Incredible! It looks like I am back in Alaska.
