Taken August 16, 2012 near Pine, Idaho on the road going towards Fall Creek and Prairie. You can see the smoke in the background of the Trinity Ridge Fire. I asked about our wildlife, and was told that one Forest Service Personnel said... we had lost lots of game. I wish this could be confirmed, I am sure the Boise Forest Service would have the true answer to this question? We have not heard much about the wildlife, especially the game. One firefighter told me he had only seen one bear, alive and running away, and a lot of dead fish. Saying the fish jump out of the hot water of the lake.
