On August 3rd, 2012 around 2:30 p.m. we were traveling on the Fifer Creek Road North West of Rocky Bar. We first saw the fire as we neared the Trinity Lake turn-off. we watched the fire for more than an hour as two small planes and one C-130 dropped retardant on the flames. It was unbelievable to see trees explode into flames!
